Sattler on farewell visit with Konaković

(Patria) - Minister of Foreign Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina Elmedin Konaković received in a farewell visit the Head of the European Union Delegation and the European Union Special Representative in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Ambassador Johann Sattler.

The meeting discussed the current political situation in BiH, European integration, reform processes in our country, and regional relations.

Minister Konaković thanked Ambassador Sattler for his cooperation and contribution to the development and progress of Bosnia and Herzegovina on its path to the European Union, emphasizing that his diplomatic mandate in our country was very successful.

Ambassador Sattler expressed satisfaction that during his mandate, BiH achieved significant results in the European integration process, with an emphasis on obtaining candidate status for EU membership and the European Council's decision to open accession negotiations with Bosnia and Herzegovina. He also referred to the numerous EU programs that have been implemented in our country in recent years.

The interlocutors expressed hope that Bosnia and Herzegovina will continue with the implementation of reforms and maintain momentum on the path towards the European Union.

Minister Konaković wished Ambassador Sattler success in his future work and diplomatic career at the end of the conversation.
