(Patria) - Head of the EU Delegation to BiH and EU Special Representative in BiH Johann Sattler has been appointed as the new EU Ambassador to Montenegro.
As reported by RSE, the Secretary-General of the European External Action Service, Stefano Sannino, sent to member states a list of ambassadors and special envoys appointed by EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs Josep Borrell.
From this, it can be seen that a significant change has been made in the diplomatic staff related to the countries of the Western Balkans. The European External Action Service is expected to publish this list soon.
As part of the rotation in EU diplomatic posts, Borrell appointed the current facilitator of the dialogue between Kosovo and Serbia, Miroslav Lajčák, as EU Ambassador to Switzerland.
This list does not include the name of Lajčák's successor in the role of EU Special Envoy for the Kosovo-Serbia dialogue.
It is expected that the European External Action Service, in cooperation with member states, will make a decision later, possibly during the summer.
