Meeting in Sarajevo: Damaged business relations between BH-Gas and Hungarian FGSZ must be repaired

The business company for gas production and transport BH-Gas hosted a delegation of the Hungarian company FGSZ for the past two days. The FGSZ delegation was led by FGSZ CEO Janos Laszlo, and BH-Gas by Jasmin Salkić, acting director of this company, reports Patria.

- BH-Gas and Energoinvest have had a contract with FGSZ for gas transport from 1998 to 2023. This was the first visit of this company's delegation to BiH and BH-Gas after several years.

The discussions held concerned the fulfillment of the conditions from the Long-Term Transport Agreement, as well as the creation of prerequisites for defining realistic transport quantities in the coming years, due to the excessive lease of transport quantities held by BH-Gas and Energoinvest.

It was stated that damaged business relations between the companies influenced this fact. The main request and joint conclusion of the meeting of company representatives is to improve relations and raise them to a higher level, which will contribute to a better understanding of the problems faced by the companies.

At the same time, BH-Gas representatives expressed the need to redefine transport conditions through Hungary, which will be the main topic of further discussions in October at the FGSZ headquarters.

BH-Gas representatives also expressed regret that the cooperation between the companies had been at a low level in recent years, especially considering the importance of the Gas Transport Agreement for both parties.

The Hungarian partner clearly emphasized that BH-Gas has the opportunity to nominate all problems it faces in terms of the gas market in which it operates, and that this is a policy that was clearly emphasized in the past period as well, it was announced from BH-Gas.
