Meeting in Sarajevo: Delegations of SDA and SBiH elaborate on Izetbegović and Jerlagić agreement

At the SDA headquarters in Sarajevo today (August 19) starting at 5 PM, delegations of SDA and the Party for Bosnia and Herzegovina will meet to continue talks on the distribution of positions in the federal government, based on the agreement reached by the presidents of these two parties, Bakir Izetbegović and Amer Jerlagić, reports the Patria news agency.

As a reminder, Jerlagić last week threatened to pull SBiH out of the coalition, which has not yet even taken off, because SDA excluded them from the agreement on the appointment of the Supervisory Board of Elektroprivreda and the adoption of the Law on Forests of F BiH.

After that, Izetbegović and Jerlagić agreed in a one-on-one meeting on further action, which the delegations now need to elaborate.

However, it remains disputed whether the Ministry of Energy, as Jerlagić announced, will entirely belong to the Party for Bosnia and Herzegovina, or whether it will be, according to Izetbegović, only about segments of this extremely important department.

Allegedly, within SDA there is a group of people led by Mirsad Kukić from Banovići who believe that Elektroprivreda should be led by a director from this party, while SBiH advocates that this public company should belong to them.
