Meeting of Radončić, Nikšić and Komšić: The situation in the FBiH Government was discussed in particular

10:20 The presidents of the Alliance for a Better Future (SBB), the Democratic Front (DF) and the Social Democratic Party of BiH (SDP), Fahrudin Radončić, Željko Komšić and Nermin Nikšić, discussed, as they themselves stated, the political situation in BiH with a special focus on the current situation in the Government of the Federation of BiH.

As the party leaders told reporters after the meeting, these were informal talks and an "ordinary" coffee, and there was no talk of any concrete discussions about the possibility of these three parties forming a coalition, because they are not interested in power.

As they pointed out, they discussed how to create a reform program that will be implemented for the benefit of all citizens of BiH. Otherwise, last week Nikšić and Komšić held a meeting in a Sarajevo establishment, and last night Amer Jerlagić, leader of SBiH, confirmed to Patria that this party also has an open path to join the SDP, SBB, and DF.

Nermin Nikšić, on behalf of the SDP, stated that this political option wants to contribute to stabilization in the country to the extent possible.

- We also want to clearly state that we do not have fear that would cause us to vote for any legal solution that is not of high quality and in the interest of citizens. For example, we are talking about the Labor Law, which was harmonized and which is being put on the agenda of the FBiH Government today, without prior agreement with one of the socio-economic partners, namely the trade union, which was excluded from the last session of the Economic and Social Council. There is no indication of a session of the FBiH Parliament, and the adoption of this law is planned by the end of July. The government is burying its head in the sand and hiding from responsibility, and we want to point this out - said Nikšić.

Željko Komšić emphasized after the meeting that the meeting was not aimed at removing someone with electoral legitimacy from power, but that the SDA cannot force them to agree with them and everything they do.

Radončić pointed out that these were informal talks because they wanted to consider where this country is heading.

- We discussed how to create a reform program in the interest of citizens, regardless of who is in power and who is in opposition - said Radončić.

Radončić also answered the question of whether the announced formation of a new parliamentary majority by SDA and SBiH was discussed at the meeting.

- SDA is the electoral winner. It bears the greatest responsibility for the situation. It does not bother me as, in the future, in two, five, or ten years, as a coalition partner with SBB or others, if Bakir Izetbegović is not there. However, this meeting was not about removing Bakir Izetbegović; on the contrary, they have an obligation to form a parliamentary majority and a government that reflects that parliamentary majority, not to create a circus as they have started, having a government that lacks a parliamentary majority - said Radončić.

Željko Komšić, Fahrudin Radončić, and Nermin Nikšić will reportedly also consider the possibilities of forming a new parliamentary majority in the Federal Parliament, given that the minority SDA-HDZ BiH government no longer has support in this legislative body.

Last week, the three of them issued a joint statement in which they criticized the moves of SNSD leader Milorad Dodik, whose proposal to call a referendum on the Court and Prosecutor's Office of BiH was adopted by the National Assembly of RS. Otherwise, no one made statements before the meeting, and the meeting started at 8:30 AM.
