Meeting with Dodik: Will representatives of Serb parties leave state institutions again?

Republika Srpska must give a unified response to the decision of the Constitutional Court of BiH, and if that means withdrawing from state institutions, that response will be respected, which is the stance of almost all parties ahead of today's meeting at the Palace of the Republic. They also state that they will certainly respect the Declaration already adopted by the National Assembly of Republika Srpska, which clearly states that Republic Day, January 9th, will not be abolished regardless of the Constitutional Court's decision, reports the Patria News Agency.

If there is a joint agreement to leave the Council of Ministers and all institutions, I will certainly respect it, says the Minister of Foreign Affairs of BiH, Igor Crnadak.

“Whatever the joint agreement is, which everyone stands behind, I, as a minister in the Council of Ministers, will respect it. I think I am the last person you should have doubts about, because I have already resigned and left the Council of Ministers once, and that is no problem for me, but my message is that it is important to be united at this moment,” emphasized Igor Crnadak.

SDS says that the outcome of a potential withdrawal from state institutions should be considered, but they will speak more about everything today. The rest of the Alliance for Change is also awaiting today's meeting. NDP has already reacted sharply to the Constitutional Court's decision, which they say should be rejected.

“If there is such an agreement and such a stance, with which the political party I belong to agrees, then it is completely normal for me to implement that stance, meaning not to attend meetings that will be held,” said Momčilo Novaković, an MP of NDP in the House of Representatives of the BiH Parliament.

Nikola Špirić, an SNSD MP and party vice-president, says that everything is in the hands of the Alliance for Change. They should propose what to do next and seek support at today's meeting at the President's Palace, says Špirić, and emphasizes that unity is most important.

“I fear that the moment we do not have a unified approach at the BiH level, things slowly get lost and fall apart. Whether the meeting will result in at least an attempt at a joint agreement remains to be seen. I am not sure that the Alliance for Change dares to take a step back, but let them prove me wrong,” said Nikola Špirić, an SNSD MP in the House of Representatives of the BiH Parliament, ATV reported.
