Sarajevo residents accept reality, Ferhadija almost empty

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - Despite the inviting sunny weather, Sarajevo residents seem to have decided to respect the recommendations to avoid unnecessary movement.

 

This particularly applies to the elderly.

Thousands of citizens usually stroll through Sarajevo's central streets, Ferhadija and Maršala Tita, in the afternoons when the weather is nice, but today the situation is completely different.

A significantly smaller number of citizens are moving through these streets, and most of them are in a hurry.

This is a commendable fact, considering the efforts of the health and other sectors in the country to preserve public health and protect citizens from the coronavirus epidemic.

We remind Sarajevo residents that public gatherings of more than 250 people are also prohibited.

By adhering to the instructions of the authorities, we will protect both ourselves and others.
