Thousands of Sarajevans and people from other parts of BiH came today to the funeral of Haji Fuad Šehbajraktarević, director of the Funeral Company "Bakije", who passed away on Wednesday evening at the age of 73, writes the BiH news agency Patria (NAP).
The coffin of Haji Fudo was carried not by the hands of friends from Faletići to the cemetery with tekbirs and salavats that were recited during his lowering into the grave.
In addition to a large number of citizens, his friends and relatives, many personalities from public life of Bosnia and Herzegovina attended the funeral of Haji Fudo, such as Dino Merlin, actor Emir Hadžihafizbegović, Dr. Faris Gavrankapetanović.
Also present at the funeral were the president of SBB Fahrudin Radončić, Fehim Škaljić, mayor of the Old Town municipality Ibrahim Hadžibajrić, chief imam of the Gazi Husrev-beg Mosque Mensur ef. Malkić, sheikh Edin Urjan Kukavica, sheikh Halil Brzina, hafiz Sulejman Bugari, hafiz Burhan Šaban, former basketball players Samir Avdić and Elmedin Konaković, Nihad Imamović, Abdulharis Šeta, Dr. Bakir Nakaš, Bakir Alispahić, Jusuf Pušina, Senad Hadžifejzović and others.
The funeral prayer was led by Haji Hafiz Hamdija Begić, NAP reports.
