Sarajevo resident used fake license plates on a car because he was wanted by the police

Police officers of the Third Police Station arrested a man identified as G.S., born in 1976 in Sarajevo, for document forgery, the Ministry of Interior of Sarajevo Canton announced, as reported by the Bosnian news agency Patria.

Namely, yesterday police stopped a Seat Toledo vehicle driven by G.S., and a check determined that the car had license plates that do not belong to the vehicle and that he was already wanted by the Novi Grad and Novo Sarajevo police stations.

- The prosecutor of the Cantonal Prosecutor's Office in Sarajevo was informed about the case, and G.S. was handed over to the Detention Unit for Persons Deprived of Liberty of the Ministry of Interior of Sarajevo Canton. Police officers continue working on clarifying and documenting the said criminal offense - the statement said.
