Sarajlić remains Chairman of the Club in the BiH PA, SDA Presidency approves SBB's entry into government

A session of the Presidency of the Party of Democratic Action was held in Sarajevo, and President Bakir Izetbegović told reporters that the SDA Presidency unanimously concluded to support the stance of the party's Collegium and to continue negotiations with Fahrudin Radončić's SBB regarding their participation in the government, reports a reporter of the BiH news agency Patria.

- The coalition with A-sda and SBiH should also be maintained, and the Presidency also agreed that there will be no changes regarding the coalition with the Alliance for Change - Izetbegović pointed out.

Although Izetbegović told a Patria reporter today that Mladen Bosić, the leader of SDS, did not say at yesterday's meeting that he did not want SBB in the Council of Ministers, the SDA leader has now changed his story.

- Bosić's stance on not wanting SBB in the Council of Ministers was like that yesterday, and in politics, nothing is certain, so we will see in which direction things will go. First comes the federal level, then the cantonal, and then we will see about the Council of Ministers. I would not want there to be a situation of outvoting - Izetbegović stated.

Also, at today's session of the SDA Presidency, the incident within the SDA Club in the House of Representatives of the BiH PA, when the chairman Asim Sarajlić physically attacked Sadik Ahmetović, was discussed.

- It was agreed to extend a hand and achieve reconciliation for those who were dissatisfied with the outcome of the Congress. On the other hand, we need unity within the SDA Club to work together on solving problems, and it was also agreed that we will work to ensure that the most capable people within the SDA are on the lists - Izetbegović said, adding that he will soon visit the SDA Club in the BiH Parliament.

When asked by a Patria reporter if this means that Sarajlić remains at the head of the Club, Izetbegović answered affirmatively, explaining that for now, the option of any dismissals has not been pursued.

Otherwise, the Presidency discussed the position of Bosniaks in the RS, the Bosnian language, the announced referendum in the smaller BiH entity, and the work of the Council of Ministers and the FBiH Government.
