Sarajlić accused all party leaders of working only for their own interests

The head of the Party of Democratic Action (SDA) Club in the House of Representatives of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Asim Sarajlić, today accused all political party leaders, not excluding the head of his own political party, of having “dealt with themselves in the last four years” and held the BiH Parliament hostage, reports the BiH news agency Patria (NAP).

However, it remained unclear whether Sarajlić meant the current head of SDA, Bakir Izetbegović, or the president of SDA, Sulejman Tihić, who is fighting a serious illness, in these accusations.

When asked by journalists, after a senseless episode about the dismissal of Lagumdžija, what the BiH Parliament had done for the citizens, Sarajlić had an attack of honesty or demagoguery.

“Obviously, we have done nothing for our people. We have done very little, almost nothing,” said Sarajlić.

The only positive thing Sarajlić mentioned was that the BiH Parliament had reduced salaries and costs.

“Obviously, the protests and floods opened our eyes, so some arrogant politicians relented and we voted for it in Parliament, but this Parliament, in essence, in the last four years, has dealt only with itself and has been a hostage of political party leaders who have actually subordinated all BiH institutions to their narrow party interests or sometimes other interests,” said Sarajlić, reports NAP.
