Sarajevo Mufti Dr. Enes ef. Ljevaković received yesterday a group of 100 Catholic priests from Milan, led by two bishops, reports the Bosnian news agency Patria.
Dr. Ljevaković received the guests from Milan on behalf of the Grand Mufti Husein ef. Kavazović.
In a half-hour conversation, the Mufti presented the Islamic Community of Bosnia and Herzegovina, its history, structure and institutions to the Italian priests, making, along the way, appropriate comparisons with the Catholic Church.
After the conversation with the Mufti, the guests also visited the museum of the Islamic Community, which is located in the Gazi Husrev-beg Library.
The five-day visit-pilgrimage of the group of Milanese priests is part of the education program for young priests. Among other things, they visited the more important religious sites in Sarajevo: the Bey's Mosque, the Cathedral, the Orthodox Church and the Synagogue.
