Sarajevo Airport: Dino Omerspahić the 700,000th passenger

Sarajevo International Airport today welcomed its 700,000th passenger in 2014, thus achieving the goal set for the current year, reports the Bosnian news agency Patria.

This is an important day for Sarajevo International Airport, given that for the first time in the company's history the figure of 700,000 has been reached. It is worth noting that last year, 2013, Sarajevo Airport ended with a record 665,638 passengers.

Dino Omerspahić from Zenica, who today flew from Sarajevo to Vienna on an Austrian Airlines flight, is the jubilee 700,000th passenger at Sarajevo International Airport.

The director of Sarajevo International Airport, Ivan Veličan, presented the jubilee 700,000th passenger with a gift voucher for purchases at the Duty Free shop, and a free return ticket to Vienna was presented to the passenger by the representative of Austrian Airlines, Ismar Ibrahimović.

On this occasion, Director Veličan expressed his satisfaction with the fact that a new jubilee record in the number of passengers has been achieved, and expressed his belief that in the upcoming year 2015, Sarajevo International Airport will continue the trend of successful operations.

Director Veličan thanked all employees of Sarajevo International Airport and all airlines flying from Sarajevo Airport for their effort and commitment, which made it possible to reach the record of 700,000 passengers.
