Sarajevo Heating Plant to Conduct Functional Tests of the Heating System in the Coming Days

(Patria) - KJKP "Toplane-Sarajevo" has informed users of its services in the Canton of Sarajevo that in the coming period, in order to prepare as best as possible for the upcoming heating season, they will proceed with conducting functional tests on the entire district heating system.

Accordingly, the planned functional tests will be conducted between 8:00 AM and 4:00 PM on the following dates by Regional Units:

• PJ Centar 09/08/2025;
• PJ Novo Sarajevo 09/09/2025 and 09/10/2025; and
• PJ Novi Grad-Ilidža 09/11/2025 and 09/12/2025.

In the previous period, building managers and owners of heat substations connected to the KJKP "Toplane-Sarajevo" system were informed about the planned functional tests.

They are obliged to provide Toplane with information on the readiness, i.e., technical correctness of their installations within the specified period, so that they are ready to receive thermal energy in the upcoming heating season 2025/2026.

Furthermore, notices will be posted in the coming days at all entrances connected to the KJKP "Toplane-Sarajevo" heating system.

"Users are requested to first report any observed defects or leaks in the installations to their responsible building manager, and then to the telephone number of our service (033/650-956).

During the functional tests, there will be no heating of central heating users, but there may be usual and characteristic sounds in the installations," stated Toplane.
