SARAJEVO, (Patria) - Italian Ambassador to BiH Nicola Minasi and Mayor of Sarajevo Abdulah Skaka were present in front of the City Hall when the lights in the colors of the Italian flag were turned on.
This was done in support of the country that is currently the most affected by the coronavirus in Europe.

"Italy has been the epicenter of the coronavirus pandemic in recent weeks. Although the whole world, including us in Bosnia and Herzegovina, is facing the spread of the virus and preventive measures, we are sending a message to our friends from Italy that we are with them, just as they were with us when it was most difficult.
Only caution, responsibility, and patience can be the right response to the challenge we are facing," said Skaka.
In Italy, 175 people died in the last 24 hours, and since the beginning of the coronavirus epidemic, more than 21,000 cases of infection have been registered. Also, during the last 24 hours, 527 people recovered.
