Sarajevo police issued 1,237 tickets to drivers in one day

(Patria) - Police officers of the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MUP) of Sarajevo Canton (KS) during the past day, undertaking regular traffic control measures, submitted seven requests for initiating misdemeanor proceedings and issued 1,237 misdemeanor tickets.

For minor offenses, Sarajevo police warned four drivers and removed eight drivers from traffic for driving under the influence of alcohol.

Also, eight drivers were removed from traffic for driving before obtaining the right to do so, and two drivers who drove during the period of the protective measure of prohibition of driving a motor vehicle.

Three motor vehicles were also removed from traffic due to the expiration of the validity of their registration, and eight unregistered vehicles, according to the MUP of KS.
