
(Patria) - A large number of cars with lily symbols paraded through the center of Sarajevo today, on the occasion of celebrating March 1st, Independence Day of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The "Lily parade by cars" through Sarajevo was organized by the Anti Dayton Movement, and drivers gathered at 4 PM in the parking lot between the Istiklal Mosque and the pool in Otoka. The parade started around 5:15 PM.

"Bring your flags with lilies, preferably on poles. It is desirable to have a co-driver. Adhere to the agreement and rules. Come let's celebrate March 1st, Independence Day together," was stated in the invitation that the Anti Dayton Movement published on social networks.

As they stated, discussions were held with the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MUP) of Sarajevo Canton (KS) and the traffic police of KS, to whom the event was announced.

"Independence Day is the most important date for our homeland because the lives of defenders are built into its foundations for the independence of RBiH.

Independence Day is not a day for sadness and negativity, but a day exclusively for celebration, and this date should be celebrated at an even higher level.
