Sarajevo: Water problems also expected during New Year holidays

KJKP Vodovod i kanalizacija Sarajevo, during the New Year holidays, will try to minimise disruptions in the water supply of Sarajevo Canton and disconnections of consumers due to repairs of faults on the water supply network. However, pipe bursts are unpredictable and the company will take all measures to ensure a quick repair of the fault for any such possible interventions, it was announced from this company, Patria reports.

-We emphasise that the water supply system is largely dependent on pumping and electricity, and in that sense, from this distance, it is impossible to make any prediction about the water supply situation.

KJKP ViK will provide an increased number of intervention teams that maintain the water supply system, so everything will be done to stabilise and eliminate disruptions in the water supply as soon as possible.

During the New Year holidays on 1, 2 and 3 January 2017, an operational team and the duty phones of the Dispatch Centre: 210-707 and 220-435 will be available to consumers for reporting any possible faults on the water supply network.
