Sarajevo: Vehicle stopped for inspection, weapon found

In Alipašina Street, Centar Municipality Sarajevo, police officers of the I PU last night stopped and inspected a Mercedes passenger vehicle driven by H.L., born in 1979 in Niš, residing in Konjic, writes the Patria News Agency.

- During the inspection, a "Para" pistol, caliber 9 mm, with a magazine and 3 bullets of the same caliber, for which he does not possess a permit from the competent authority, was found and confiscated from him. Due to the existence of grounds for suspicion that he committed a criminal offense, H.L. was deprived of his liberty and handed over to the Department for Detention of Detained Persons of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Sarajevo Canton - say the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Sarajevo Canton.

The Prosecutor of the Cantonal Prosecutor's Office in Sarajevo was informed about the above. Police officers are continuing their work on shedding light on and documenting the mentioned criminal offense.
