Sarajevo: 18-year-old injured in a brawl involving multiple people

(Patria) - A brawl involving multiple people broke out last night in the Sarajevo neighborhood of Alipašino Polje.

One person was injured.

This was confirmed to Hayat.ba by the spokesperson of the Ministry of Interior of Sarajevo Canton, Mersiha Novalić.

- On October 14, 2024, at 00:05 hours, the Novi Grad Police Station was informed that a mutual brawl between several people had occurred in Semira Frašte Street, Novi Grad municipality. On that occasion, 18-year-old A.S. from Sarajevo sustained minor physical injuries, which were diagnosed at the Clinical Center of the University of Sarajevo, after which he was sent for home treatment.

The duty prosecutor of the Cantonal Prosecutor's Office of Sarajevo Canton was informed, who classified the incident as the criminal offense of Violent Behavior (Article 362, Paragraph 2 of the Criminal Code of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina).

An investigation was carried out by members of the Police Administration of the Ministry of Interior of Sarajevo Canton, who are working on clarifying and documenting this criminal offense.
