Sarajevo celebrated against Široki at Košev in the derby of the round

Four matches of the 8th round of the BH Premier League in football were played today, writes Patria News Agency. 

Sarajevo defeated Široki Brijeg with a score of 2:0 in the derby of the 8th round of the BH Premier League.

Sarajevo opened the match in the best possible way. In the 4th minute, Krste Velkoski scored a beautiful free-kick goal.

Four minutes later, another ball in the visitors' net. Mersudin Ahmetović scored, but after almost a minute of deliberation, referee Vladimir Bjelica disallowed the goal due to offside after consulting with assistant Davor Beljo.

Široki had their first serious attack in the 15th minute and immediately created a colossal chance. Čabraja's shot from about seven meters went over the goal.

In the 24th minute, the home fans remembered Vedran Poljić, who was killed in fan riots in Široki Brijeg in 2009, with the banner "Fascism is becoming a daily occurrence in the stands, while the truth for Vedran remains covered up," followed by several minutes of chanting "Truth for Vedran.".

The visitors gradually took territorial initiative, but did not create chances. Bjelica showed the first yellow card in the 29th minute to Miloš Stanojević after a foul on Josip Ćorić.

At the end of the first half, Sarajevo moved the game to the Širokobriježani's half, but there were no excitements, so the teams went into halftime with a minimal lead for the hosts.

The second half started with an excellent chance for the players in burgundy jerseys. Anel Hebibović went one-on-one with Luka Bilobrk, but his shot from about 15 meters was saved by the visiting goalkeeper. Before that, Luka Menalo was in a good position for the visitors, while Amar Rahmanović missed an almost empty goal from a few meters in the 53rd minute.

Sarajevo continued their offensive play in the second half. In the 58th minute, Bešta almost scored an own goal, while Ahmetović missed a good chance after a corner.

A period of play in the midfield followed, with both teams playing disjointedly until the 74th minute when, after nice moves by Hebibović, Ahmetović scored for 2:0.

Sarajevo had another chance for a third goal in the 81st minute, substitute Sanjin Lelić ran into the space, passed Bilobrk, but went too wide and missed the empty goal.

In the 87th minute, Joachim Adukor came on for Hebibović; this was the debut for the Ghanaian acquisition, who was greeted with thunderous applause at Košev.

Zrinjski players continued their winning streak in this season of the BH Premier League.

The "Plemići" defeated GOŠK in Gabela today in the 8th round of the BHT Premier League with a score of 2:0.

The visitors started the match better and took the lead in the 12th minute. Slobodan Jakovljević was the scorer.

Until the end of the first half, the visitors safely held their lead, while the hosts could not threaten Kenan Pirić.

In the second half, another ball in Dalibor Kozić's net. It was the 69th minute when Nemanja Bilbija masterfully lobbed his former teammate.

With this victory, Zrinjski strengthened their position at the top of the Premier League table, while GOŠK suffered their third home defeat in their fourth home match.

Vitez players recorded their first victory of the new season in the 8th round of the BH Premier League. Vitez defeated Čelik today at the City Stadium in Vitez with a score of 2:0.

Until today's match, Vitez had scored only one goal, but today they scored two and secured a victory. The hosts were slightly better, and Brekalo scored in the 22nd minute to give Vitez the lead, which was also the halftime score.

At the very beginning of the second half, Zukić sealed Vitez's victory by scoring for 2:0. Čelik played a poor match today, and Kemal Hafizović's team did not create any serious chances.

After eight rounds, Čelik and Vitez both have four points and are at the bottom of the table.

Tuzla's Sloboda drew in the 8th round of the BH Premier League in an away match in Doboj-Kakanj against Mladost, with the final score being 1:1.

After the previous round, there was a change of coach in Tuzla, so Jagodić was replaced by Petrović, who watched the match in Doboj-Kakanj from the stands today due to administrative issues. Sloboda did not start the match well, and Mladost took the lead in the 9th minute after a corner. After a corner taken by Filip Arežina, Haris Dilaver scored for Mladost's lead. 

Just two minutes later, Mladost could have scored another goal. Vukašin Benović shot from over 30 meters, and the ball, which had already beaten the young Azir Muminović, hit the crossbar. Sloboda managed to consolidate afterwards and had a slight territorial initiative, but the visitors did not have any major chances.

Sloboda equalized in the 42nd minute of the match. Sulejman Krpić sent in a cross, Bojan Regoje reacted poorly, and Milan Ćulum appeared in the right place from behind to score the equalizer. The score did not change until halftime.

Sloboda was more dominant in the second half, but there were no major excitements. Sulejman Krpić had the best chance, getting a goal-scoring opportunity in the 57th minute, but the Tuzla striker reacted poorly, so Semir Bukvić had no trouble stopping his attempt. The score did not change until the end of the match.
