Sarajevo increasingly dangerous: Three robberies in just a few hours

Reports from the Ministry of Interior of Sarajevo Canton about robberies and grand theft are becoming more frequent and extensive, making residents of the capital of Bosnia and Herzegovina feel increasingly unsafe, reports the Patria news agency.

Thus, it was recorded that yesterday (Wednesday) in just a few hours, several robberies were committed under threat of weapons.

The first occurred around 2:20 PM on Novopazarska Street, where two unknown persons committed the criminal act of robbery against a female employee at the “Konzum” store.

- On that occasion, the unknown persons, under threat of a firearm, stole a certain amount of money and then fled in an unknown direction. The prosecutor of the Cantonal Prosecutor's Office in Sarajevo was informed of the above, and police officers are working on solving the said criminal offense, identifying and finding the perpetrators – stated the Ministry of Interior of Sarajevo Canton.

While police officers of the Ministry of Interior of Sarajevo Canton were searching for these perpetrators, at 7:25 PM on Zaima Šarca Street, another criminal act of robbery was committed by unknown persons against a female employee at the “Konzum” store. Police officers are also working on solving this case, but shortly after, around 9:05 PM on Kasindolska Street, a criminal act of robbery was committed against female employees at the “BH Play” sports betting shop.

- The unknown persons, under threat of an automatic rifle and a pistol, stole a certain amount of money and two mobile phones, and then fled in an unknown direction – stated the Ministry of Interior of Sarajevo Canton.
