Sarajevo: Renovation of pedestrian paths and stairs in Jukićeva Street

Based on the framework agreement on investment and technical maintenance of stairs and fences in the Centar Sarajevo municipality, signed on behalf of the Municipality by Mayor Dževad Bećirević with the director of the company „Sela“ d.o.o. Sead Tutić, the renovation of pedestrian paths and stairs in Jukićeva Street from number 1 to 3 began ten days ago, reports the Patria News Agency.

For the mentioned works, the Centar Sarajevo Municipality allocated 24,021 KM from its 2015 budget.

Workers of the company „Sela“ have so far demolished the dilapidated concrete paths and stairs. Also, the base layer was laid, after which the walls and paths were concreted.

Residents of Jukićeva Street praised the Centar Municipality's project and emphasized that its implementation means a lot to them because they will now have a well-maintained and much easier access to the buildings where they live. The completion of the works is expected next week, it was announced from the Centar Municipality.
