Sarajevo reconnected directly with London

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - The airline FlyBosnia has connected Sarajevo with London, the capital of the United Kingdom, which represents the first air link between the capitals of our country and the United Kingdom, after 12 years. London, incidentally, as one of the most important world centers of political power, culture, education, fashion, sport, and tourism, attracts nearly 30 million
visitors every year, making it the most visited city in Europe.

The first aircraft on this route – an Airbus A319 of the new generation – took off from Sarajevo International Airport this morning at 7:00 AM, and after a ceremony held upon landing at
London Luton Airport, it returned to Sarajevo at 1:15 PM. FlyBosnia organized the arrival of about a hundred representatives of the media, the tourism sector, and related industries from Great Britain on this promotional flight, and they will stay in Bosnia and Herzegovina for the next few days, getting acquainted with the natural beauty, sports facilities, gastronomic offerings, and other tourist attractions of our country.

FlyBosnia will commence regular flights on this route with the mentioned aircraft as early as next week. Flights will initially operate three times a week, and FlyBosnia plans to establish daily flights on this route within the next year. The ceremony was attended by the Ambassador of the United Kingdom to BiH, Matthew Field, who emphasized that the establishment of flights between the two countries will be beneficial for tourism, business, and strengthening ties.
