Sarajevo: New Modern Amphitheatre Opened at the Faculty of Health Studies

(Patria) - A new modern amphitheatre, equipped with the support of the Ministry of Finance of Sarajevo Canton, was ceremonially opened today at the Faculty of Health Studies of the University of Sarajevo.

This space represents a significant step forward in improving conditions for the education of future healthcare workers and the development of higher education in the field of health.



Minister of Finance of Sarajevo Canton Afan Kalamujić said on this occasion that investment in education and science is not an expense, but the most important investment in the future.

- It is right here that new generations of healthcare workers will acquire knowledge, exchange ideas, and build skills that are the foundation of a strong and humane healthcare system - Kalamujić stated.

He expressed gratitude to the Dean of the Faculty, Prof. Dr. Arzija Pašalić, for her vision, dedication, and continuous commitment, which were key to the realisation of this project and the development of the faculty as a whole.

Addressing the students who began attending this faculty today, Dean Pašalić thanked Minister Kalamujić, who, as she said, is most responsible for the fact that students today have the opportunity to study in this beautiful space.



- Just a few months ago, this space was completely empty. Today, the greatest resource of this country sits here, and that is you, young people, who will, I hope, successfully complete the Faculty of Health Studies.

You will be the first generation to study in the new space, in a building entirely dedicated to you and your needs. Everything we have worked diligently for, you will be able to use, which makes us immensely happy and proud - Pašalić stated.

With the opening of the new amphitheatre, the Faculty of Health Studies has acquired a modern space that will provide students and teaching staff with better conditions for work, learning, and research, thereby further strengthening the quality of education and the healthcare system in Sarajevo Canton.
