Sarajevo Osiguranje remains among the top 50 insurers in the region

„Sarajevo-osiguranje“, the market leader in BiH, remains the only BiH insurance company among the top 50 insurers in the Southeast European region in the ranking conducted for the seventh time by SeeNews, an independent global business news and information provider, reports Patria.

This agency has published the results of the TOP 100 ranking of the largest companies, banks, and insurance houses in the SEE (Southeast Europe) region, featuring the most significant companies from BiH, Bulgaria, Croatia, Kosovo, Macedonia, Moldova, Romania, Serbia, and Slovenia. For the period of 2013, "Sarajevo Osiguranje" is positioned at 43rd place among the largest regional insurance companies based on achieved premiums.

According to the latest official available data for the first eight months of 2014, Sarajevo Osiguranje remains the leading company in the insurance market of Bosnia and Herzegovina with 45.5 million KM in achieved premiums and a market share among companies from the Federation of 16.5 percent. During the first eight months of 2014, Sarajevo Osiguranje also resolved and paid out 18.6 million KM in claims of all types of insurance, making it the number one company in BiH in this regard as well.
