SARAJEVO: Man dies in hospital after being shot

(Patria) - A shooting occurred in Sarajevo's Grbavica neighbourhood, leaving one person seriously injured. The shooting took place in the garden of the "Paper Moon" catering facility, and according to guests, the attacker approached the table and fired.

Emergency medical teams are on the scene.

- At 8:43 p.m., police were notified that a firearm had been used and that one person had been injured. Police officers are at the scene gathering information and details regarding the incident - confirmed Mirza Hadžiabdić, spokesperson for the Ministry of Interior of Sarajevo Canton.

Several hours after being wounded, the man died. He has been identified as Nedžib Spahić Džiba, previously known to the Sarajevo police.
