Sarajevo to procure 15 new minibuses worth 4.38 million KM

(Patria) - Minister of Transport of Sarajevo Canton Adnan Šteta and director of the company "Sejari" Hasan Sarajlija today signed an Agreement on the procurement and delivery of 15 new minibuses, after the public procurement was completed and a decision on selection was made.

- Today, the first step has been taken towards a better quality of minibus transport in our canton. Every part of our canton is equally important to us, and we have had great challenges in this segment of public transport, especially in the hillside areas, so I am satisfied and happy that we are successfully resolving these challenges as well - stated Šteta.



The new ISUZU minibuses will be equipped with modern equipment, and the maximum passenger capacity will be 41, with 25 seats. The minibuses are EURO 6, will have air conditioning, are adapted for persons with disabilities, and will have quality safety features. The color of the new minibuses will be yellow, like the color of the new trams and new trolleybuses.

- The procurement of new minibuses is equally important for all of us as the procurement of new trams and trolleybuses. Our commitment to renewing the fleet is visible year after year. Excellent activities have been carried out, I congratulate the team and thank all citizens, because with the money of all of us who live in the canton, we are procuring vehicles. We will not stop, we will continue to work, so that Sarajevo has the best transport in the region - concluded Šteta.



By signing the Agreement, the parties have also committed to signing a contract, which stipulates a delivery period of eight months for the new minibuses. The total value of the signed Framework Agreement is 4,387,499.12 KM with VAT.
