Sarajevo: Thief attempted to steal a car with children inside!

Sarajevo police are intensively searching for a thief who on Saturday evening attempted to steal an Audi 6 car in front of the Holiday Hotel, with two children in the back seat, confirmed for Patria agency from the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Sarajevo Canton.

Namely, the car owner and his wife got out of the car, leaving the children inside. While the owner was taking bags out of the car's trunk, the thief seized the opportunity and literally "jumped into the car and started driving".

The car owner ran after the car, and the thief, noticing the children in the back seat, stopped the car and fled with a woman's handbag. The children's father ran after the thief, but fell awkwardly and injured himself. The thief, in a panic, threw away the handbag and fled in an unknown direction.

Police are reviewing video surveillance footage to identify the audacious thief.
