Sarajevo: New traffic lights along the bike path by the end of August

 

The installation of vertical traffic signage on the bike path in the Novi Grad municipality is nearing completion, funded by the City of Sarajevo and the Sarajevo Canton Roads Directorate, reports the Patria News Agency.  

For safety reasons, all transverse crossings over the main road and tram tracks, marked with blue pigment as paths for cyclists and pedestrians, have also been completed. 

Employees of KJKP „Park“ should soon relocate two public lighting poles from the path: one near the Novi Grad Municipality building, and the other in Otoka.

A company, selected through a public procurement procedure, will install new traffic lights at every intersection along the bike path in the Novi Grad municipality by the end of this month, the City Administration announced.
