Sarajevo this morning tops the list of cities with the most polluted air in the world

(Patria) - Sarajevo this morning is the city with the most polluted air in the world with a pollution index of 359.

Sarajevo this morning is the only city in the world with air quality in the dangerous category, followed by the cities of Dhaka in Bangladesh with an index of 264, Delhi and Kolkata in India with indices of 212 and 206 respectively, and others, which are classified in the very unhealthy air category.

According to data from the website of the association "Eko akcija" (Eco Action), the air in Bosnia and Herzegovina this morning is also dangerous in Visoko, Vogošća, Kakanj, Ilijaš and Travnik, while it is very unhealthy in Banja Luka, Zenica, Tuzla, Maglaj.

Polluted air poses a danger to the population, and it is advised to avoid spending time outdoors or, if not possible, to avoid any exertion, especially for sensitive groups - the elderly, pregnant women and children, and persons with respiratory and heart problems.
