Sarajevo to host a fight spectacle

The capital of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Sarajevo, will in March host the Final Fight Championship, which will also be the first fight event of 2015.

This is the third attempt to hold the leading regional fight promotion in the capital of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and since FFC 7 was skipped because of this, the event on March 13 will bear that number.

And of course, the main role will be played by fighters from BiH - the experienced Dževad Poturak, and the rising star Tomislav Spahović, who have extremely attractive fighters as their opponents.

So, in the kickboxing part, Dževad "BH Machine" Poturak has a "rendezvous" scheduled against the dangerous Spaniard Frank Munoz. Although Poturak announced the end of his career in 2013 due to heart problems, he returned to professional sports last year with a bang. At the event in front of his home crowd in Zenica, he spectacularly knocked out Abderhamane Coulibaly, and at the very end of the FFC season, he also performed successfully at the event in Vienna, defeating the Greek Theodosiadis Panagiotis.

Munoz also has experience fighting for Final Fight, given that in 2012 he had a fight against Mladen Brestovac in the Zagreb Arena, who won that match. However, the Spaniard won matches against Falin and Tufekčić at major Superkombat events, and is currently on a streak of five consecutive wins, which is certainly a big warning for Poturak.

The MMA part of the event is led by the "Sarajevo Hulk" Tomislav Tomo Spahović, who will try to continue his winning streak against the German Nicolai Salchow. Spahović introduced himself in FFC at the event in Split in 2013 (FFC 3) when he spectacularly knocked out the Swede Christian Golčić, and the fact that this knockout is still shown in FFC highlights on Fight Channel shows how attractive a fighter he is.

Spahović was also successful in his last appearance against the Hungarian Sandor Okras (FFC 14), although it was established after the fight that he had torn his knee ligaments at the very beginning of that match, and that he literally survived until the end.

He has had the injury treated and announces a new triumph, in order to present himself as well as possible to the Sarajevo audience, who want to see him in his best form. Spahović has had several respectable opponents behind him, whom he defeated without problems, and now he will have a very strong and powerful German opponent, who defeated one of the best Croatian MMA fighters, Matej Batinić. Until that match, Batinić had 10 consecutive wins, and only one single loss in his entire career.

A few days ago, several more very interesting duels were added to the fight card of the announced FFC 7 in Sarajevo, both in MMA and kickboxing competitions.
