Sarajevo could be the first to receive vaccines in FBiH

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - According to information from some media outlets, the authorities in Canton Sarajevo have managed to secure a contingent of 100,000 doses of AstraZeneca vaccines in the United Arab Emirates, and now an equally difficult process of import and approval in our country lies ahead.

If these "formalities" can be resolved within a timeframe acceptable to the Sarajevo government, these will be the first doses of vaccines to arrive in the Federation of BiH, especially considering that distribution through the COVAX system will only begin in March.

However, this information was not confirmed by the Prime Minister of CS Edin Forto. According to him, CS has allocated two million marks and wants to procure at least 100,000 vaccines. He said that the public will know as soon as he has precise information.
