Cooperation between KK Bosna and KK Realway: Merger of two clubs in youth development

In order to improve basketball and create the best possible conditions for working with talented young players, a cooperation was agreed a few days ago between KK Bosna, the largest basketball club in Bosnia and Herzegovina, and KK Realway, which over the years has become a recognizable brand when it comes to working with younger categories.

As part of KK Realway, the largest basketball school has been operating for years, as well as a development youth system that has achieved great results in working with young people and has promoted a large number of young players, including many national team representatives of our country.

The cooperation between KK Bosna and KK Realway is exclusively based on the development of the youth system (pioneers, cadets and juniors), where students will be assisted by KK Realway coaches Mustafa Đuzel, Muamer Kurić and Enes Hadžihalilović, along with coordinator Adnan Subašić, so that they can transfer their great coaching experience to players from both clubs, who will compete together next season under the name KK Bosna. Both KK Bosna and KK Realway believe that this cooperation is the right way to restore the former glory of the name of the former European basketball champion, which is not possible without work in youth categories.

- In the first season, KK Bosna will be represented mostly by players from KK Realway, but with gradual strengthening we will restore confidence, not only in young talents, but in everyone who recognizes the right opportunity. In addition, we want to attract all talents from across the country and enable their further development, because we have quality coaching names and resources for that - says Nedim Džemić, president of KK Realway.

In addition to all the above, it is important to emphasize that this is a way to further popularize basketball among the youngest, and the positive trend around the senior team of KK Bosna is a clear signal that the ABA league is not far off in the future.

- That would bring the audience back to the hall, but also gather a larger number of children who would choose basketball and sport in general, because our goal is to create good athletes, but even better people, who will surely walk through life in their mature years and choose, just as the name of our school says - The Right Path - added Džemić.

Finally, in this way, all prominent individuals from the Realway basketball school have a clear development path from enrollment in the basketball school, as the first step, then learning and adoption, competition in the Kids League, entering the youth system, passing through all selections and the possibility of playing in the Ligi 13 KS BiH, as well as in the ABA league and affirmation at the senior level.
