Cooperation between HKD Napredak and the Municipality of Busovača, scholarships for all students

A meeting was held at the premises of the Municipality of Busovača between the municipality's mayor, Asim Mekić, and the vice-president of HKD Napredak, Josip Križanović.

The topic of discussion was the provision of scholarships for students in the area of the Municipality of Busovača. Napredak, as an institution that awards the largest number of scholarships on an annual basis, has also published a public call this year, to which many students from the area of the Municipality of Busovača applied.

Since the Municipality of Busovača allocated 75,000 KM for student scholarships last year, compared to the planned 45,000 KM, this year an idea emerged to secure scholarships or support for all students through coordination and agreement between the Municipality of Busovača, the Busovača branch of HKD Napredak, and the Government of the Central Bosnia Canton.

Mayor Mekić accepted this initiative, and the necessary next steps were agreed upon so that every student would become a beneficiary of at least one scholarship provided by one of these three institutions.

In this way, HKD Napredak and the Municipality of Busovača once again demonstrate how dialogue and cooperation can achieve results in favor of the end user, namely the young people who are being educated today and who will lead the socio-political processes of this city tomorrow.

HKD Napredak has recognized a number of municipalities in the Central Bosnia Canton that are undertaking activities aimed at ensuring that every student receives a scholarship, which is in line with the fundamental mission of HKD Napredak.
