Saračević-Helać: RTV BiH didn't stop broadcasting even when we were bombed, bravo Čović and Dodik!

Well-known FTV journalist Arijana Saračević-Helać commented on social media on the decision of the BHRT Management Board to temporarily suspend production and broadcasting from June 30, Patria reports.

- RTV BiH never stopped broadcasting. Not even on the day it was bombed, nor when the transmitters were destroyed and we were killed and wounded...We preserved the dignity of the house, and today you announce a suspension of broadcasting. Oh, how brave. I hope you have previously, perhaps filed some criminal charges against those who led to the collapse. Bravo Čović, Dodik, bravo management, union...bravo, we journalists – wrote Saračević-Helać.

Incidentally, this decision is a direct consequence of the debt of entity broadcasters of 25 million KM: Radio-Television of the Federation of BiH 16.5 million, and Radio-Television of the Republika Srpska 8.8 million KM.

- State institutions have not resolved the long-standing problem of the RTV tax and financing of the public service. Today's decision is therefore forced and only announces the real circumstances that will arise after June 30, when the current model of RTV tax collection expires – stated the BHRT Management Board.
