Traffic collapse at Vogošća interchange: Vehicle queues at the entrance to Sarajevo

(Patria) - Vehicle queues are present again this weekend at the Vogošća interchange, at the entrance to Sarajevo.

Many who use this section daily will say 'nothing new'. Frequent traffic collapses are a long-standing problem at this interchange that the authorities have failed to resolve.

Drivers are complaining, but in vain, they are forced to wait in queues, sometimes for hours.

Drivers can use several routes through this interchange, as this road is directly connected to the M-18 Sarajevo – Tuzla main road, and to the part of the highway leading towards Mostar, or towards Zenica and the north of our country.

The situation is no better when it comes to traffic jams in other parts of the city, especially in the morning and afternoon hours on weekdays, but the cantonal authorities are clearly 'turning a blind eye' to these problems.
