Reconstruction works on several road sections, slightly longer waits at borders due to EES system

(Patria) - In most of Bosnia and Herzegovina, traffic is moving on intermittently wet roads, while on some sections we draw attention to reduced visibility due to fog or low clouds, as well as to frequent landslides. Drive carefully and observe all traffic regulations.

Due to works on laying the final asphalt layer, traffic is suspended on the Srbac-Derventa main road. Vehicles are being rerouted to the Srbac-Prnjavor-Derventa route. (Works started on 27.10.2025.)

Landslide reconstruction is underway in Sijeračke stijene on the Dobro Polje-Miljevina main road, where traffic is suspended for up to 45 minutes between 08:00 and 17:00.

Due to demining works on the Ustiprača-Goražde main road (at the quarry site), traffic is suspended for half an hour every working day between 09:00 and 15:00.

Today and tomorrow (31.10. and 01.11.) from 08:00 to 16:00, traffic will be slowed down on the M-17 main road near Zenica, from the Zenica jug toll station to the Perin Han settlement, due to finishing works.

In the Kobilja Glava area (Sarajevo-Vogošća main road), works on repairing potholes and regular maintenance are being carried out from 08:00 to 15:00. Traffic is slowed down, using one lane, until the works are completed. Due to increased vehicle frequency, long queues are forming, so we ask drivers for patience and understanding.

Works are also ongoing on the A-1 highway section Podlugovi-Sarajevo sjever, as well as on the main roads: Žepče–Maglaj (Ozimica location), Konjic-Jablanica, Bileća-Trebinje (Žudojevići location), Zavidovići-Vozuća (in Krivaja), Klašnice-Banja Luka, Jablanica-Blidinje (Jablanica-Kosne Luke section), Jablanica-Prozor (Mirci settlement), Semizovac-Olovo, Gacko-Foča (in Sastavci), Mostar-Čitluk (at the entrance to Čitluk), Jajce-Crna Rijeka, as well as at the entrance to Neum.

Due to reconstruction works, traffic is suspended today until 16:00 on the Zenica-Babino regional road (Komgrad Ze quarry - ŽGP quarry section). The alternative route during the suspension is: Novo Selo-Peševići-Poce-Pavine kuće.

Regular lighting maintenance works are being carried out today at the intersections of main roads in the areas of: Orašje, Odžak, as well as on the bridge between Pruda and Šamac.

At border crossings, waiting times for passenger vehicles are no longer than 30 minutes.

Due to the registration of passengers under the new entry and exit system for European Union countries (EES, Entry/Exit System), longer waits at border crossings are possible.

The Brčko border crossing is open for passenger vehicles up to 3.5 tons. Traffic for vehicles over 5 tons of maximum permissible weight is prohibited at the Karakaj border crossing (near Zvornik). Trucks over 5 tons are redirected to the Bratunac or Rača border crossings, while buses can use the Šepak border crossing. Trucks can use the Šepak border crossing from 09:00 to 13:00 and from 22:00 to 06:00 (on weekends, they can cross between 22:00 and 06:00).
