Repair of damaged chimney at 'Otoka' boiler plant

SARAJevo, (Patria) - As part of construction works for plant maintenance, KJKP „Toplane - Sarajevo“ d.o.o. have completed works on the repair of the chimney of the „Otoka“ boiler plant at Brčanska street number 9.

"The repair of the outer shell of the chimney involved chipping away the damaged surface of the reinforced concrete chimney shell where reinforcement was visible, hydro-dynamic cleaning of the entire chimney shell with water at a high pressure of 1000 bar, repair of damage with micro-repair mortar, repair of the chimney top, and painting the chimney."

Previously, the entire interior of the chimney was repaired, which included the installation of new ladders on the chimney, mounting new lighting, and replacing electrical installations.
As part of the completed works, the chimney liners from the boilers to the chimney itself were replaced.
