GRAS rehabilitation at the expense of citizens: Commercial line fare to rise to 2 KM, Centrotrans line to be abolished

The bankruptcy administrator of KJKP GRAS, Haris Gušić, revealed at today's press conference that one of the measures to rehabilitate this company will be an increase in the ticket price for the commercial line Dobrinja-Vijećnica to 2 KM. On the other hand, there is a possibility that GRAS will remain the only carrier on that line. Given that Centrotrans is also on that line, there is an option either for them to raise ticket prices or for the Government and the Ministry of Transport to revoke their permit, reports the Patria agency.

Gušić said that GRAS can only be saved by work and that this company can move forward only according to this principle. Although it is claimed that there is an excess of workers in GRAS, Gušić states that they lack drivers, especially when the fleet is renewed.

- The figure of 1,190 workers is realistic given the current capacities of GRAS and the number of vehicles we have. However, this figure must increase when we acquire a larger number of vehicles, and we hope for a much larger number of employees. Until we procure vehicles, we will operate with the current number of employees - said Gušić.

According to his words, work is also being done on monitoring the arrival and departure of workers to work.
