Lone Gunman: Pindžo expelled from SBiH, continued trading with SDA in DF for personal interests

In December 2012, the Party for Bosnia and Herzegovina expelled Besim Mehmedić and Mirsad Pindžo, SBiH representatives in the Assembly of Sarajevo Canton, from its ranks, writes the Patria news agency.

Mehmedić and Pindžo, it was announced at the time, put their personal interests ahead of the party's interests, and were also expelled for selling the reputation of the Party for Bosnia and Herzegovina, thereby committing a serious violation of the SBiH Statute.

At that time, Mehmedić, on his own initiative and without the party's knowledge, negotiated and traded with the SDP regarding the formation of the Sarajevo Canton government, and later with the leaders of the SDA Cantonal Committee.

In exchange for supporting the SDP and later the SDA government of Sarajevo Canton, Mehmedić sought a job for his son in the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina as a quid pro quo, while Pindžo sought for himself the position of Deputy Director of Sarajevo Airport!

The President of the Party for Bosnia and Herzegovina, Amer Jerlagić, spoke with Mehmedić and Pindžo on several occasions, demanding that they stop this shameful trading, but since the "trading duo" did not heed these warnings, Jerlagić was forced to show them a "red card".

Afterwards, the two continued to operate in the Assembly of Sarajevo Canton as independent representatives, and with the formation of the Democratic Front, they joined Željko Komšić.

Mehmedić was not elected to the legislative body, but received a job as an advisor in the cabinet of the DF's state Minister of Transport and Communications, Slavko Matanović.

Pindžo found himself on the list for the Canton and was elected as a representative.

Unlike Mehmedić, who settled for an advisory position and calmed down, Pindžo decided to continue with political trading in the Assembly of Sarajevo Canton.

As the head of the DF Representative Club, based on what could be seen in the first 100 days of work and activity of the SDA-DF coalition, he behaves like a lone gunman.

He continued what he had been doing in the previous two terms. Not respecting Samer Rešidat, as the president of the DF Cantonal Committee Sarajevo, nor the cantonal DF ministers, nor the party leadership led by Željko Komšić, Pindžo works for his personal interests, as well as those of the SDA.

This was evident in action during the failure to adopt reports on the work of several cantonal institutes, where, without consultation and agreement with his own party, he conducted political trading with Prime Minister Elmedin Konaković and the SDA Representative Club.

It won't be long before the public learns what and how much Pindžo gained in this trade.

As a reminder, apart from employing relatives in cantonal companies and participating in the pre-election distribution of tillers and heifers on Bjelašnica, in two terms he did nothing for the citizens. He is known as a political chameleon and is one of the main culprits for the collapse of the company ZOI '84.
