Samir Avdić (NiP) should be the new Mayor of Sarajevo

(Patria) - The new Mayor of Sarajevo should be Samir Avdić from the People and Justice (NiP) party, it was agreed today at a meeting of the "Trojka" (The Trio), city councilor Vedad Deljković (DF) told Faktor.

Deljković stated that he has reliable information that everything was agreed upon today and that the leadership of the City of Sarajevo, in addition to Avdić, will also include his deputies Mirela Džehverović (NS) and the current mayor Predrag Puharić (SDP).

- The only issue could be the deputy chairperson of the City Council from the Bosniak people, as Emir Bićo from NiP is also interested in that position - Deljković said.

In the legislative authority, i.e., the City Council, the new chairperson should be Alen Girt (NS), and his deputies will be Muamer Mekić (SDP) and Svjetlana Šošić (SDP).

The session at which these personnel changes are expected to be confirmed is scheduled for May 27, at 10:00 AM, in the City Hall.
