(Patria) - Deputies of the National Assembly of Republika Srpska are discussing today at a Special Session of the National Assembly the final report of the Independent International Commission for the Investigation of Suffering of All Peoples in the Srebrenica region in the period from 1992 to 1995. This report denies the genocide in Srebrenica in 1995.
National Assembly Deputy Ramiz Salkić (SDA) addressed the National Assembly of RS, calling on them to accept the verdicts issued for the genocide in Srebrenica.
“You do not want to accept the individual responsibility of these criminals. You want to keep the people in fear to continue pursuing your policy and unfulfilled war goals. That is the essence of the problem. Do not expect us to accept untruths and lies and accept them as truth. The truth is what has been ruled,” Salkić said.
He said that he and his family have felt all the evil and have the right to speak about everything that happened.
President of the National Assembly of RS Nenad Stevandić interrupted him twice, warning him not to insult, and Salkić told him that he had the right to speak and asked Stevandić if he was threatening him with something.
Three deputies of SDP BiH in the National Assembly of RS, Mirsad Duratović, a former camp detainee, Saša Grbić, and Andrea Gajić, did not attend today's session.
