(Patria) - The National Assembly of the RS intends to reinstate the symbols, the anthem "Bože pravde" and the Nemanjić coat of arms, even though the Constitutional Court has declared these symbols unconstitutional. However, this poses no problem for Serbian politicians from the BiH entity of RS who strive in every way to defy the decisions of the Constitutional Court of BiH.
Ramiz Salkić, a delegate in the National Assembly of the RS, spoke about this topic and other current issues on the show '7plus'.
At the beginning of the show, Salkić commented on the recent activities of the US Embassy, which frequently speaks out on the situation in the BiH entity of RS, linking this situation to the president of the BiH entity of RS, Milorad Dodik.
-Citizens in the RS are victims, Bosniaks due to separatist policies and Serbs due to the total isolation of the entity. It is clear that the entity is in serious isolation because of Dodik. What the US Embassy is doing represents a unique activity carried out by any embassy or organization – says Salkić.
The National Assembly of the RS is trying to adopt, i.e., reinstate the use of the unconstitutional Nemanjić coat of arms and the anthem "Bože pravde". These symbols and anthem have been declared unconstitutional by the Constitutional Court of BiH, but the authorities in the RS are attempting to bring them back into use.
-What has been proposed is unacceptable because it brings back discriminatory symbols. The law will be adopted because the assembly is committed to adopting rigid regulations. The worse the regulations, the better for them. Serbian representatives are competing to propose the most rigid proposal, insulting Bosniaks and BiH – states Salkić.
Public hearings were held regarding this proposal to reinstate the anthem and coat of arms. Salkić points out that these hearings serve no purpose because the authorities will do what they have planned, which is to bring back discriminatory symbols.
-Who will give comments? Even if reasonable citizens come to these public hearings, their objections would not be accepted. So, this hearing was unnecessary because the assembly will adopt whatever is proposed – says Salkić.
The All-Serbian Assembly has charted the course for the future policy of Serbia and the RS. Salkić points out that this is merely an adapted document of Memorandum 1 and 2 in these peacetime conditions. He adds that the support in the Serbian Assembly for this document speaks for itself.
-The Serbian Assembly that produced the Declaration charted the course for how the policy of Serbia and the RS will be conducted. The Declaration is anti-Dayton. It advocates for the destruction of BiH, treats the RS as a state, and has the ambition to unify the RS and Serbia. It is an anti-state document that flew under the radar in BiH. The reactions from the international community have been mild. And those who hold Bosniak positions, who are in a coalition with Dodik, did not even react. They do not understand the aspirations of our neighbours. This is an extended document of SANU, Memorandum 1 and 2, and represents merely an adapted document for the peacetime realization of war goals. The support in the Serbian Assembly shows that the majority is on the track of Milošević's Serbia and the Serbian world. The essence of all this is the violation of the territorial integrity and sovereignty of BiH - says Salkić.
