Salkić: Those who deny genocide and glorify war criminals cannot be part of BiH's political life

(Patria) - Ramiz Salkić, a deputy in the National Assembly of the RS, reacted to the repeated denial of genocide by the president of the RS entity, Milorad Dodik, stressing that it is in the
interest of all citizens, peace and stability that those who deny court verdicts, glorify war criminals and deny genocide should not be part of political life in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

"Genocide deniers are a key disruptive factor in our society. They produce divisions in society by spreading narratives contrary to established court facts and rendered court
verdicts. The continuation of such a narrative will continue to spread intolerance and divisions among the citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

These divisions will create a sense of insecurity and mistrust among citizens, which is indeed one of the goals of genocide deniers.

It is in the interest of all citizens, peace and stability that those who deny court verdicts, glorify
war criminals and deny genocide should not be part of political life in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
In this way, a clear message would be sent to all those who do not respect court verdicts that they will not have the opportunity to make decisions on behalf of the citizens," said Salkić.
