Salkić: Some would, just like in 1995, sit and watch a new genocide against Bosniaks without doing anything

(Patria) - After the Director of the Srebrenica Memorial Center, Emir Suljagić, reacted sharply earlier to the visit of the EU delegation to Bratunac today, which also laid flowers at the Military Cemetery, SDA MP in the National Assembly of Republika Srpska (NSRS) Ramiz Salkić also made a statement.

(Patria) - Director of the Srebrenica Memorial Center Emir Suljagić reacted sharply to the visit of the EU delegation to Bratunac today, which also laid flowers at the Military Cemetery.

Salkić began his Facebook post with the sentence "There is no end to hypocrisy".

"You come, pay respects to the victims of genocide, and then you come and pay respects to the soldiers of the army that was convicted of committing genocide.

This is clear evidence that some, just like in 1995, would sit and watch a new genocide against Bosniaks without doing anything.

These are the ones who, with their actions, encourage Serbia and Bosnian Serbs to build a 'Serbian world' at the expense of Bosniaks and Bosnia and Herzegovina.

They also paid respect to the innocent civilians killed in the area from 1992-95.

Those who pay respects to the soldiers of the army that committed genocide against Bosniaks do not deserve our respect and consideration in any way.

It is not possible to be on the side of the innocent victim and the murderer. Today you have shown that your compassion for the victims of genocide is not sincere and that you are willing to equate victims and their murderers.

You have, consciously or unconsciously, it doesn't matter, placed yourselves in the service of the Greater Serbian campaign and the lie that the murderer and the murdered are the same.

Do you know, and you surely know, that you laid flowers for members of the brigade that was key in committing genocide against the Bosniaks of the UN safe zone of Srebrenica.

Did you visit the Veljaci Memorial Center in Bratunac where some of the Bosniak victims of those to whom you paid respects and showed honor today are buried.

You did not, because you are interested in balance, not the real truth," Salkić stated.
