Salkić: Denial of genocide and glorification of war criminals is a dominant orientation within the Serb corpus

(Patria) - The anti-civilizational act of denying genocide and glorifying war criminals is not the whim of some extremely radical individual within the Serb political corpus. It is a dominant orientation within the Serb political, church, and academic corpus, which they are unfortunately very successfully transferring to the Serb people as a whole.

This was announced today on social networks by MP in the National Assembly of RS Ramiz Salkić, emphasizing that such radicalization on the foundations of committed genocide represents a huge threat to peace and stability in the future in these regions.

"The absence of an adequate reaction to these processes further motivates and encourages the denial of genocide and the glorification of war criminals. The denial of genocide and the glorification of war criminals in the educational process, political, religious, and media space represents a continuation of the crime against the surviving victims of genocide and other serious crimes.

This approach, in addition to aiming to raise new radicalized generations within the Serb people, is intended to pressure Bosniaks into not feeling safe in their homes.

A reaction from the competent institutions and protectors of the fundamental principles of the Dayton Peace Agreement was needed 10 years ago. It was absent, which encouraged deniers to move into a new phase of organized institutional denial of genocide and glorification of war criminals.

It is up to the judicial institutions to prove whether they have the capacity, knowledge, and courage to stop this and start punishing those who deny genocide and glorify war criminals," Salkić stated.
