Salkić: I am not afraid of threats from RS, I continue the fight for the rights of Bosniaks

Vice President of the National Assembly of RS, Ramiz Salkić, reacted to the statements of certain politicians and the Serbian member of the Presidency of BiH, Nebojša Radmanović, which referred to Salkić, writes the Bosnian news agency Patria. Salkić said today at the opening of a martyr's fountain in Đurići near Vlasenica that in the case of two Bosniaks in Trnopolje near Prijedor, a swift action by the police and security organs was carried out in apprehending the suspects for the murder.

- This deserves praise for the demonstrated efficiency in informing the public about the suspected perpetrator of the double murder. This action was carried out surprisingly quickly, professionally, and efficiently. If the information about the suspicions for the committed criminal act of murder, which the competent authorities in the RS entity made public, proves to be accurate, I am ready to apologize for my statements - said Salkić.

He added that no one will intimidate him with threats of reporting him for allegedly spreading interethnic hatred and intolerance, which, "with joint efforts in recent days, regime media and faded politicians are trying to fabricate."

- Their attacks will not prevent me from fighting for the rights of Bosniaks in the RS entity even more strongly than I have done so far. Where are these regime journalists and faded politicians to sue the President of the RS entity, Milorad Dodik, and others who have been building their political careers for years on spreading interethnic hatred and intolerance towards Bosniaks? - Salkić asks, adding that the work of police organs in previous similar cases has not been encouraging.

- In order to have full confidence in the professionalism and impartiality of the work of the police organs of the RS entity, they must provide us with precise data on who killed the girl Meliha Đurić in Vlasenica, who beat returnee Muradif Alić to death in Mahala near Osmaci, who placed the bomb that killed returnee Sejfudin Ahmetović in Glogova near Bratunac, who organized the attack and who killed Murat Badić at the ceremony of laying the foundation stone of the Ferhadija Mosque in the center of Banja Luka, who attacks returnees, Bosniak houses, and desecrates Muslim religious objects, cemeteries, mosques in Banja Luka, Trebinje, Zvornik, Višegrad, and other places throughout the RS entity? When the perpetrators of these and other serious criminal acts of attacks on Bosniaks are presented to the public, and when the composition of the police structures in the RS entity becomes multi-ethnic, there will be less room for doubts about their professionalism and impartiality in cases where the victims of attacks are Bosniaks in the RS - said Salkić, as reported by Patria.
