Salkić: I am not afraid of Dodik's threats

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - Ramiz Salkić, Vice-President of the Bosnian entity of Republika Srpska, commented today ahead of the SDA Presidency session on the latest developments with RS President Milorad Dodik, who reduced Salkić's salary.

He told reporters that he does his job primarily to correct injustices "for my people and my homeland, and the job I do, I do not do for money."

- Milorad Dodik has no right to reduce my salary on any grounds, because we are on the same level. We were together in the elections, he won for president, and I for vice-president. The fact that we do not live in a state of law, that rights are not valued equally, that the constitution and laws are not respected, that is another matter and why people do not want a state of law. I received the decision today, the coefficient has been reduced from 3.6 to 2.8, and we will see what the salary will be - said Salkić.

Salkić said that the main problem is "the threat directed at me personally, and I perceive it as a threat to me personally, to my family, and to all Bosniaks in the entity of RS, that I should watch what I say and discipline myself, so that they do not discipline me."

- I will continue to point out discrimination, I am not afraid of Dodik and his threats, and I tell him that we will see each other again in the elections - said Salkić.
