Salkić: Bosniaks in the Federation must show unity like we do in the RS

Through the coalition „Domovina“ we have shown that Bosniaks, when united, can demonstrate a certain strength, said for the Bosnian news agency Patria (NAP) Ramiz Salkić, Vice President of Republika Srpska.

After the General Elections held in Bosnia and Herzegovina yesterday, Bosniaks could win up to eight seats in the National Assembly of Republika Srpska, compared to the previous term when they had five delegates.

Namely, the coalition "Domovina", which consists of several Bosniak and Croatian political parties in the RS, will win 60 to 70 percent of the Bosniak and Croatian votes in the RS, thus achieving a convincing victory.

The project „Domovina“ was led by Emir Suljagić and was co-signed by SDA, the Party of Justice and Trust, the Posavina Party, the Democratic Front, the Diaspora Party, the SDU, the Party for Bosnia and Herzegovina, the HSP and the SBB.

The result achieved by the coalition „Domovina“ in the elections in the RS, Salkić believes, must be an example for Bosniaks in the Federation when it comes to unity and the fight for common goals.

- We are a small people and we need two, possibly three political parties to satisfy the interests of all, not the number of political parties we currently have – says Salkić, NAP reports.
